I thought the kick off meeting was very well put together and very informative. I will definitely be returning and will be inviting my peers. I must say the presentations were informative and provided a lot of good fodder for our team conversation today. I was wondering what EMC would have said about Microsoft’s recommendation to use the cheapest storage as possible.

Some other topics I would like to discuss with the group would be the use and supportability of virtual servers with both Exchange and OCS. We are heavy users of ESX for virtualization and have virtualized our HUB and CAS servers on load balanced virtual servers.

I have tried to post a topic twice and after a week I still do not see my question. So, I will post it here and see if I can get a response.

We are heavy users of virtualization software and want to know your collective opinion on which nodes within OCS could be virtualized and which ones should not be.

Before you go there I know (have read and understand) Microsoft's blanket statements on using virtual servers. That being said I am sure I am not the only one whose virtualized their CAS and HUB Transport servers. Am I?
